Yin Yoga
Monday mornings, 8:30-9:30 am beginning January 28th, 2019


Yin is a slow yoga practice, mostly on the floor. Poses are held for 3+ minutes, working deep into fascia and connective tissues. Fantastic for people with any level of yoga experience, and especially effective as a practice for athletes to recover and gain/maintain flexibility.

– Located at 7120 S. Cooper St. Arlington, TX 76001
– Free for YMCA members, or $10 for a day pass to the facility.

– Mats and blocks are provided, or you may bring your own yoga gear.

Flow and Restore Yoga
Sunday afternoons, 2:15-3:15 pm beginning January 27th, 2019


This class combines traditional, alignment-based Hatha “flow” yoga and restorative. Opening with movement and closing with calming poses and meditation, Flow and Restore is energizing and relaxing, a great way to begin a new week. This class is for beginners and experienced yoga practitioners alike.

– Located at 7120 S. Cooper St. Arlington, TX 76001
– Free for YMCA members, or $10 for a day pass to the facility.

– Mats and blocks are provided; students are encouraged to bring two blankets, two yoga blocks, and a pranayama bolster if they have them but these items are not required. See recommendations on the yoga gear page.



Yoga on the Farm (Arlington, TX)
